4 of us will be in Dumagete and analao in 2 wks and wondered if the night diving was worth bringing our lights. Having been disappointed in some places mainly because the same critters were there during daylight hours we were wondering if it was worth the excess baggage.

No kidding... Anilao pier on a night dive should be MANDATORY when in Anilao, fantastic for all sorts of octopii and cuttlefish. Basura was great as well, lots of nocturnal shells and nudibranches.
I was less impressed with Dauin but probably due to the choice of divesite.

Some of our night dives were fabulous, and others were not as rich -- like all diving! We always saw fun stuff, but the pygmy squid, the cuttlefish, and some of the tubeworms were things I specifically recall seeing at night and not during the day. I do think they have lights you can rent, though, if you don't want to haul yours.
