How to mount doubles to a Scubapro Seahawk

I have a newish Seahawk and i just noticed a tag on it that says it can take up to two aluminum 80s on it and i was wondering what i would have to do to be able to mount them since I'm interested doing some deeper wreck dives off of NJ.

Don't. If you are thinking about diving New Jersey wrecks it's far better to start off the right way, proper equipment and training. Just my 2 PSI.

I wouldn't consider doubles on a Seahawk... get a backplate and wing if that's what you intend to do.

Folks have been mounting doubles to Scubapro Pro Classics, Knighthawks, and Seahawks for years. It's no problem in doing so.

Looks like while it can be done, it is not a good solution as the tanks wobble around.

I am a new diver and just bought a Seahawk and was more curious about this than serious about actually buying.

If I get to the point where I start doing technical diving I will get a back plate / wing BC.

You would need to remove the single tank band the BC was furnished with, add doubles bands and the hardware to secure the bands to the tanks, and the tank assembly to the BC. Either individual tank valves or twin valve manifold with an isolator valve.
