LNVA diver trapped briefly
BEAUMONT - A diver from the Lower Neches Valley Authority became trapped Wednesday morning near Helbig and Piney Point in north Beaumont.

Water pressure trapped the diver, who was working on some pipes, for almost ten minutes before he was able to free himself.

The Beaumont Fire Department responded but did not have to get into the water.

The diver suffered minor injuries and will be transported to a local hospital according to the fire department.

Glad to hear he made it out safely. To be trapped for 10 minutes by water pressure must bave been hectic! He must have put up a huge fight to get free !
Wel done to him.
