Yes, but tend to wear off after one trip. The paint pens last longer.

I haven't used the sharpie brand paint pens, but I've used numerous brands of paint pens and they all seem to work well.

i use sharpies on everything from my speargun to my tanks. it fades after several months but then i just go back over it.
the paint pens work well on neoprene, fins, etc

I prefer real aluminium/silver wheel paint and a fine artists brush.
A very small can will last you for years.
It reflects beautifully UW.
On absorbent material like BCs & gloves it will last for many years.
Hard plastic like masks & dive computers it will last for some years.
Flexible non-adherent plastic like fins will need touching up every year.

Same thing I do. Paint for some items regular sharpie for others. Markings last better on some items than others, and some locations are better on a particular item. Fins are definitely the hardest imo.

I used the paint marker on my dive computer 2 years ago and just remarked it a month or so ago.
