Decided I would make a poll to see who uses which size most. So which size SPGs are you using in sidemount? 1.5", 2" or 2.3"

I use these. Both in black and PSI

Thin SPG, Naked | Dive Gear Express®

My understanding for the smaller light weight SPGs is in sidemount if you lollipop them they do not droop due to the weight

Honestly..whatever is cheaper for my wallet. I have a variety of SPGs. I don't notice a huge difference but prefer the 1.5 inch slim ones.

I like the 2" face for readability. With 6" rubber high pressure hoses, they dangle at the low side of my tanks where they are easy to find.

I chose other. I have the thin ones linked as well. But if I had a do over, with my vision, I would pick the largest face available. Better yet, SM is the one area I would consider AI.

slimlines are basically required if you are running your first stages down because of the weight of the 2" gauges, so slimlines it is. I use bigger ones for backmount, but for sidemount it is slimline or nothing imho

I found with 2" spg's I needed "SPG Viagra" ;-)

I'm using the same 2"-face SPGs that came with my gear before I went to sidemount.
