Has anyone switched back to jacket/back inflate bc after diving a bp/w? If so, why?

I also have a very light back inflate BC for travel (Zeagle Zena). I actually like it almost as much as my BP/W. The BP/W just has the edge because I love my steel plate keeping 1/2 of my weight so close to my center of mass, vs weight pockets alone.

I only dive a BPW since switching 2 years ago and can't see myself ever going back to a vest style recreational BCD. Never have dove a jacket.

No, I loved my back inflate BC, but it was listed in the classified after my first dive in a BP/W

nope, actually added a DSS Kydex, and a VDH "Vintage" to my collection. There are 4 BC jackets sitting unused for over 5 years now in the locker...

Did two swimming ppol dives with jacket and hated it. Never tried since.

When I moved into tech diving, I switched to a BP/W. I was super reluctant as I had spent my entire diving career in a jacket. After one dive, I realized it was the best move I ever made. I even enjoy it much more when diving a single tank. I would never consider going back to a jacket of any kind.
