A ScubaBoard Staff Message...

moved from the A&I thread.
------------------------------

This is very sad news. I just watched Sharkwater this weekend and had heard he was working on a follow-up to it.

Sad for the diving community as well as the shark conservation community. We have lost a very loud voice and true warrior IMO.

There is a photo of Rob on the Add Helium Facebook page - looks like day 1 of trimix training was Friday. Praying for him.

RIP and I think that it can be easy to forget that this sport has its risks and dangers.

What Happened to Rob Stewart?

Thoughts and prayers to the family.

.”...a dive team from Key Largo Fire and Rescue found Stewart’s body. It was 300 feet from his last known position, on the bottom of the ocean floor."

Kudos to Key Largo Fire & Rescue for finding Stewart's body.

Heartfelt Condolences to Stewart family & friends...May you get the closure you need now....
