I have dived in Apo island off Negros and I thought the diving was good, not great like Cozumel, but pretty good. How does Palawan compare with that? I saw this video and it looks amazing!

1. Divers go to Coron(Busuanga) mainly for the WWII Japanese wrecks. There are several of them but only one can be classified as warship ie. Akisushima, a flying boat tender.
2. Divers go to Puerto Princesa(Palawan) to catch the liveaboard to dive Tubbataha Reef(the best in the country).
3. There are diving also in Puerto Princesa(Honda Bay), Taytay and El Nido.

Topside beauty does not reflect what is under the water.

I loved the diving in the Coron area! I stayed on Sangat & they took me to the best WWII wreck dives. It was also so beautiful! You can see a description of the wreck dives here as well as a description of the reef dives on another page.

I loved Cozumel diving. I rate the Coron diving better, but because of different reasons. I liked Coron for the wrecks & Cozumel for the drift/reef dives.
