Barrel Wine Bar and Restaurant- Open

The Barrel is now open again! Local Roy Celestijn is the new owner and Chef Benito from "Richards" restaurant is the new chef!. There is outdoor and indoor seating and light live music to enjoy the seal air. Plenty of parking when the cruise ships are not in port. Great place for friendly conversation, good wine, drinks and food.

What type of menu do they now have? How interesting is their wine list? Any good value wines?

We first dropped by a few years ago during their "soft opening" and they could only provide a glass of wine outside as the inside was closed for a special event. Next trip we peeked in, but the menu seemed to have only about 2 different sandwiches. So once again we had just a glass of wine.

We are headed to Bonaire in a few hours.

P.S. Where did they get the "seal" air?
