"Expedition Burma Maru" was set to solve the mystery of long lost Japanese cargo steamer Burma Maru.
Burma maru (4585brt) was sunk by USS Swardfish on the 12th of June 1942 during WW2 some 60 ntm southwest of Koh Rong, Cambodia.
After a long but very exiting search we are proud to say that she has been found on 21st of February 2017 after beeing lost almost 75 years!
The expedition was organised and executed by:
Davy Jones Locker Tech
Koh Tao Tec Divers
The Dive Shop Cambodia
Dive team:
Tim Lawrence
Mikko Paasi
Ivan Karadzic
Leon Webber
Oliver Zaiser
Dennis Funke

Yes, please, more information. Where, how? Sounds like it could be a good story.

It was off the coast of Cambodia, the dive team left Koh Tao to firstly dive the Song Hong cave system on Thailands mainland, then drove to Cambodia to search for the wreck. Tim Lawrence who organised the expedition will be writing a detailed account for www.seaexplorersclub.com. Once it is published I will add a link here, hopefully with some video footage as well.
