I am very sad to post that Bob Cranston passed away on 2 June 2016. Many divers in the San Diego area knew him from his years working with DUI and Howard Hall.

In Memoriam: Bob Cranston, Underwater Cameraman ::

I dove with him several times in the 1970s before he got involved with Videography. He was a truly fine person. Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't find it.

What a beautiful piece Howard wrote honoring his friend's life. I never met Bob, but just realized how his work has touched many of us who enjoyed those films.

Amazing story indeed written by Howard Hall. Amazing accomplishments and life history. God Bless him.
