Victoria Vis conditions?

10-15' at Spring Bay today.

At McKenzie Bight today visibility was maybe 6' in the shallows. Below 30' deep it was pretty clear. I'd say visibility was maybe 30'. Below 60' deep (down to my max depth of 125'), visibility was about 40-50'.

2 - 3 feet of visibility at Tyee on Sunday - made no difference if you were in the shallows or down deep.

Visibility was 10-15' near shore at Clover Point today and 20' farther out.

2 - 5 feet of visibility at Madrona Point this morning

We were hoping to get below the crap once we hit the big wall, but visibility was GETTING WORSE as we got deeper.

We wound up aborting the dive and returning to shore.

After vis reports indicated that things were getting better, I ventured back into the water today.

My first dive at Oak Point in Nanoose - was hoping to get a good look at the area.

Visibility was all of 5 feet. Tough to see my buddy, and he was very close to me.

Perhaps things will start clearing up soon.

From what I heard a couple of days ago - not good. Last report said vis doesn't clear up until about 90 feet.

Check with the shops tomorrow to see if there is any update.
