Robert was 10 years old when bullies on the playground turned him upside down and drove his head into the cement, giving him a c5 spinal cord injury. Later a stroke added more complications. Yesterday Diveheart took Robert on his first dive in Cozumel with the help of Dive Paradise Divemasters who are doing Adaptive Buddy Training with Diveheart. YOU can help making these dreams come true for others with disabilities by supporting Diveheart at Donate | Diveheart or by becoming an Adaptive buddy, instructor or volunteer. Find out more at training@diveheart.org and volunteer@diveheart.org Thanks

I dived two weekends ago in a lake, and in the group there was a guy in a wheelchair, my respect for these persons, the limitations is between the ears.

It was a pleasure meeting Robert on the boat in Cozumel, and it was an honor to meet the volunteers. What an amazing group of people !
