Sandy, hey! It is me. Good to "see" you. The person I got the follow up from said he spoke to a person that was on the missing divers boat, and law enforcement, but you know how communication can be! There may be inaccuracies in any retelling.

Freewilly, well no one saw him go under, but I do agree that's probably what happened. I was speaking to surface swimming mainly, which I do not do with a fully inflated BC in current...do you?

I wasn't aware that other people attempted to inflate the BC or drop weights, it certainly adds another link in the accident chain. I'm also not sure when the boat became disabled, before or after the diver disappeared. If before, that's another link. Sometimes little things add up.
