Sad to hear of the passing of one of the few remaining founders of diving. RIP Jim Stewart. Condolences to his friends and family.

Amazing life story. God Bless him.

Jim was an "original"

He often stated I can repair any regulator in a sand storm on a desert Island with a rusty nail-- And I believe he could -- (with his eyes closed and one hand tied behind is back)

He had hearing problems (as with all divers from that generation) when we gather it is like a shouting match.
When asked "Why didn't you get hearing aids like rest of us" - His standard answer was "I have some there o in my brief case" -- which he ever carried or probably never owned a brief case.
