Is 4-5 days of diving in Ambon a sufficient amount of time?
Partly because you'd be getting in nice, long dives in Ambon i'd say 5 days would be ok if you were unable to stay longer. If you're staying at Maluku Divers you'll get a price break at 7 days, though. Combining Bali with Ambon is a good choice that time of year as that is prime mola mola season, although i think you'd limit yourself a little by staying on Nusa Lembongan. Have you thought about Padangbai? You'd still be able to access the N Lembongan and Penida sites, but also be able to take in the sites around PB, and do day trips up to Tulamben. As others already mentioned Ambon also combines well with N. Sulawesi options, Raja Ampat, as well as diving around Ternate.
