Not trying to troll but I was browsing the XScuba catalog and saw this item. Is this Hogartian? The spg is but interesting how they attached the clip to it.

The ridgidity and placement of the bolt snap looks like a pain in the ass to manipulate ..............but it looks neat.

no metal to metal connections allowed. Can't be cut away in the event of the bolt getting stuck
What if the closed end of the bolt snap rides on the spg hose? That's not metal to metal but can't be cut away either. Just curious as that is what I'm doing now.

How are you holding the closed end of the boltsnap to the hose? If it's with cave line or a ziptie, it can be cut away. If you're using something like tie-wire or a stainless-steel tie, then it could be considered a hazard.

still can't cut away so is technically metal to metal. You have the shackle *metal* connected to the bolt itself *also metal*, the fact that the shackle is over the hose instead of attached to the SPG itself is pretty irrelevant

@victorzamora i think he has the hose going through the shackle side. I've seen that before
