I don't know what this list is about exactly but I can guarantee it's plain ********. Just do a search on google like "best airlines KLM" or something in that direction and look for yourself. First hit places KLM at #2, second hit places KM at #1 and I didn't even look any further but I'm sure there's plenty lists/sites/ranks with KLM making top10/top5/top3.

Noone is going to tell me that a European top airline is above Turkish Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Hainan Airlines, Thai Airways and others of these 2nd or 3th world countries. No offense to these countries but at least in order of safety checks and regulations I can guarantee Euopean or United states based airlines are far more reliable than these Asian 2nd/3th world countries...

I don't know about many of these Airlines and I might choose not to fly Turkish since the country serms to be moving towards "you don't know what is gokng to happen while you change planes in Istanbul"...
But I flew Turkish, Lufthansa, , , , , , , Ametican & United often enough to say this: I'd rank them in that seequence, with Turkish notably above LH and both of them very far above the other two.

Bill perhaps you have not been informed of the ritual "flight of the odds" any diver who spends a grown up year must do - have you considered Susi Air?

I am really surprised that Air Asia made it to #23!!!!
One nasty fatal accident in 2014, no refund unless the flight is originated from Korea. Korean Gov fought for the right for their nationals while others pay no notice to this outrageous practice.
The airline was "voted" as best budget airlines!!!!!! F$%^&*@# joke.

Anything in particular you base your guarantee on? Sorry to doubt you, but airlines are a special, extremely international kind of business - and the better-off out of the 3rd world countries (the only 2nd world countries left are arguably Russia and China) do an excellent job operating them, well above most European, forget American ones. The main secret that seems to elude 1st world airlines is to respect your customer; everything else just falls in place once you do.
