Medical examiner states primary cause hypertensive cardiovascular disease. He was 60 and place of death is listed as the HBO. Many condolences to his family and friends.

Which also happens to 30 year olds. Thanks for the info.
 
You can actually now (new service from the L.A. County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner) look up any case even if you only have partial details. (But remember that not all deaths are necessarily Coroner cases and they may not have digitized the info on some cases as of yet. This is all new. Also, site of death would have to be Los Angeles County.) Simply go under "Case Information" at the top and then "Case Search" and enter what you know.

Wonder if that happened at the Isthmus. I was on another boat on the morning of the October 1st and saw a Coast Guard rescue vessel parked for the two hours we were there next to the Cee Ray. All tanks where on deck but there were no divers or people moving around the deck. Word was that there was a fatality but no details were given by our captain.


Regardless, my condolences to the diver's family above.
