Have you gone to great lengths to cool your machine? Certain climates, duty cycles and quest for longevity seemingly would demand additional cooling efforts. More air flow? Chilled room? Water cooling? Oil cooler?

How did it work out?

I decided to set my Rix up in my office where it enjoys cool dry air. I also use a supplemental fan blowing on the motor where the cooling fan intakes air for the cooling fins.

I live in Michigan. Does dragging the compressor outside in February count?

I have two small 20cm diameter office fans blowing on mine. One on the 1st stage head, a second on the 3rd stage. Its only a 3.5cfm unit but the heads are not really in the path of the onboard fan so my supplemental fans do work - at least as measured by my laser thermometer. Roughly 10F cooler on the 3rd stage. The 1st stage head is more variable.
