So I just wanted to post this information as I am new to The Oceanic ProPlus 3 Dive Computer. I have been diving with it and love it but I never tried downloading the logs. It works great once you know how to use it.

I have read several post about people trying to get this too work. Well I found two things that fix it.

Item #1:
Download the software at https://www.oceanicworldwide.com/us/support/software Get the latest software and make sure you install the drivers for either 64 or 32 depending on your OS build also. Start with x64 if you do not know first, it will fail to install if not correct. This failure will not mess it up simply use the x32 next if needed. Note: You will not see Windows 10 listed but it will list Windows 8 and you can use those drivers.

Item #2: Most important! I hate to say it sounds silly but I am an Engineer by heart and mind.

Instructions are pretty limited for this computer. So I used logic and looked at the computer and the Sync cable. Oceanic built a very nice computer and when you look at it you examine the computer and the cable. The computer has a flat side on it and the cable does as well, you would think they should match up. Well the answer is no they do not. With you looking at the computer screen connect the cable with the flat side of the sync cable connector facing away from computer back. You can connect it both ways but it only works one way. Once I figured this out it has worked flawlessly with OceanLog 2.X and Diving Log 6.0 http://divinglog.de/ Note:For Diving Log 6.0 you still need the drivers listed above installed.
