HI;
I'm heading down to the DR in a month and wanted to dive at either Saona or catalina island for a day. I'm Advanced OW. Any recommendations?
thanks

Since you have AOW book with ScubaFun | Dive Center Bayahibe and do the St Georges wreck. Supposed to be a great dive. I did Catalina with them, got Nitrox cert while at it. Nice dive off The Wall, visibility was great and could see clear to bottom(150ft) from top of wall. Other dive at Catalina was shallow reef dive, lots of critters.

I just returned to snow in Atlanta after three days of diving with ScubaFun. I very highly recommend using them. We did Catalina our first day, then Penon, then the St. George and Atlantic Princess wrecks. It's a great operation. Nico was our guide all three days and he was great. John also joined our group for the St. George wreck. The reefs are very healthy with a lot of colorful fish and other critters as already mentioned.

another vote for ScubaFun. We did 4 days of 2 tank dives just last week. Nothing deep as my husband is a new diver. We did local reefs, Penon 1, 2, 3, and Sanoa. Nick was our guide and does a nice job. Next time we plan on diving the wrecks.
