Hello boys and girls,

I was just about to take a pic, showing off how proud I was of finally rebuilding my two mk5's untill I suddenly realised...

Man that's a very tall mk5.... (the second one from the left).

I'm kinda having an identity crisis right now... Is this an early mk10 or a tall mk5 ? (I also forgot to put the high pressure seats back into it, I am realising while writing this)

I've never heard of a 'tall' version of the MK 5, so you may have mis-matched some parts between a MK 10 and a MK 5.

The MK10 in the lower left corner looks shorter than the one above it ?

Just looks like a different style/size turret on the tall one, too me. Eyeballing it, the difference in length looks to be between the turrets. The other sections seem to "lineup".

Agree.

Does the "short" MK5 have 4 lp ports and the "tall" MK5 5?
Did both short and tall have a retainer bolt or did the short one have a circlip?

Nice set of regs BTW

Gulp? All my Mk10s are vintage? Practically the only first stage I dive.
