Ningaloo Reef-worth it?

I'm traveling to Australia in April/May and have 6 days on the west coast in Perth. Is it worth it to fly to Exmouth to dive Ningaloo Reef and swim with whale sharks?

I'd also look into booking a flight ASAP as they book up very quickly and are often full

You won't regret it - my only regret is not realising how special it is (childhood spent whining about not being able to paddle too many whale sharks in the bay).

We didn’t end up going, it was at end of our trip and between the costs of the flights and dives and the flight schedule we couldn’t make it work. I want to go back and make that a priority. Everyone I talked to over there said it was great diving.
