My Son and I were thinking of doing that dive one day this week. What days were you thinking of going? Both my son and I dive a BP/W so even if you cannot find one for rent you could at least see one and try it on in person.

Others on the forum: Do you folks know if we need to rent a flag for this dive?

Great! I just hired a buddy for a dive tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon (4 PM) - and tomorrow morning I'm going farther up the coast to a place that may rent a bp/w for later in the week. I will be able to keep my equipment overnight Tuesday - so after a surface interval I could go for another dive tomorrow night. I think I'll have a rented flag & reel. (I have my own flag with me, but not a reel.) I can also go for an early morning dive Wednesday - but I'd have to be out of hte water by 9:00 AM - (I have to be at a meeting downtown by 10:15)

If I'm successful in renting a bp/w I will have that gear on Friday. I'm probably doing a boat dive Friday afternoon, but morning and evening I would be free for a shore dive.
