BCD Trim Weights

i was wondering what Is the recommended max weight to put into the trim weights in your BCD.

As specified by the manufacturer. Mine is 2Kg.

There's no rule but usually a smaller percentage of the total. I like a 70/30 split but can't always find 1 lb. weights on the boat so settle for 60/40. I dive back-inflate so it pulls me up a little more vertically than 80/20 at the surface..

2/3 front, 1/3 trim pockets for me.

I switched to 40/60 today - more weight in the trims than the main pockets. Did wonders for my trim.
