i was wondering what Is the recommended max weight to put into the trim weights in your BCD.

Thank you in advamce.
 
There's no rule but usually a smaller percentage of the total. I like a 70/30 split but can't always find 1 lb. weights on the boat so settle for 60/40. I dive back-inflate so it pulls me up a little more vertically than 80/20 at the surface..
