When the 1st stage on a Sherwood regulator stops bubbling is there a way to clean the flow restrictor screw?

I have tried soaking in spirit vinegar and an ultrasonic without success.

It is an Oasis SRB7700 I think, it is about 10 years old and now works fine again with a new flow restrictor screw.

I ended up replacing the screw which was annoying because I had to wait for delivery and it cost about $15 including shipping.

Thanks for the link, I should have searched all forums not just the Sherwood one.

After having read the link above I realize this is not an easy part to clean

Since I posted this question I had a chat with a colleague service guy and he said at least 24 hours in the ultrasonic to clean this part.

Whoa! I don't think I'd risk killing my $600 U/S with 24h of use for a $60 piston.
