In my experiences, Diving is the great equalizer and brings people in to a sense of community. Not merely because of my travels, it’s given me opportunities to dive, dine, communicate and stay with people from all over the world. I’ve forged friendships that never would have happened if it were not for diving. It instantly gives us one other thing we have in common with other people, that we are divers. The other being that we are all human. But that’s oft overlooked.
