Anyone have a set of tank bands for a pair if LP72s?

Cheapest I found on Ebay was from international sellers for ~$100 total, shipping included for new 2.5" SS bands. There are also a pair of 1.5" antique bands on Ebay now for $59 plus tax/shipping.

Lastly, be careful and check if your tanks are 6.85-6.9" in diameter or 7", you can use the same bands for either in a pinch but if I'm gonna pay $100 for new bands, I want them to be perfect.

I've got a set of old school bands for 72. Sitting somewhere in the corner of the garage.

Are they steel or aluminum? I'm personally only interested in steel bands

I want to say narrow galvanized steel. I would have to dig them out. They are in my old school pile.
Highland Mills made quality 6.9” bands.
