Ok stupid question . What's the difference?

Looks like an OEM of an Uwatec. Bottom timers only track a few things like dive time and depth but they don’t do any decompression calculations with that information. They won’t show you a no-deco limit or tell you when or how to ascend.

Ok stupid question . What's the difference?

The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked. A dive computer will calculate how long you can stay at depth before going into deco. A more advanced computer will do a lot more. Think about it as dynamic dive tables.

This is simplistic, but I'm on a tablet .

So I guess everyone is in agreement this is a digital bottom timer and not a dive computer??
