Long time reader and backseater here. This remembers me too much of the time "we" lost Lynne.

Though i don`t know Cam in person i read a lot of his comments over the years.
I know he helped so many people out there, and now it`s our time to help find him.
Cameron is that one kind of a person, this planet lacks so many of.
I would entrust my life and dive with him any given day.

I posted this around my social media channels. I tried to donate but want to point out, that not everybody has a credit card at hand.
I tried to reach Kimberly asking for the possibility of a paypal donation. I have not much, but every little helps. As soon as i know more, i let you know.

Iam simply blown away again by the love and support on this board.
I wish i could do more :(
hang in there buddy... and as another donator wrote
... nough time spend with the mermaids, time to come home!

love you all
chris

How long would the us coast guard maintain an active search for a us citizen in warm water wearing an exposure suit and equipped with a floatation device?

i can hardly believe this is happening. I don't even know how to respond or help. I can only donate to the rescue effort underway and hope and pray that Cam is found :(. I to would have no problem helping the person posting above if she needed to donate to the Gofund me page or any other persons that do not have credit cards . I can donate in in your name with my credit card then accept a Paypal transaction from you if that is your only option if you would like to help in funding the rescure effort underway right now. For those that are not familiar with GoFundMe the tip amount at the top is not mandatory but shows up at 15% by default. I always change that to 0% then make my donation. Stay strong Cam they're going to find you my friend!

Hi Chris,

I'm more than happy to help you with a donation through pay-pal and since I know Cameron from my last trip to Cozumel, and was deeply impressed by him, will even do one better and match your donation and get the funds immediately to my friends Kimberly and Ray even so I already donated earlier. We need to keep the momentum going to bring Cameron back to us and unfortunately this means a lot of funds to pay for the private search in addition to what the authorities are doing. We are all heartbroken and need to support the tremendous effort put together by his family and friends to bring him back to us.

Thanks,
Gerhard

@Sloeber & @mtngoat2674 Since you are coordinating in the 2 regions ...

Since the time frame is starting to put Keys/SW Florida into play for private air search, I thought I'd Research and pass on some possible charter/training Ops that have suitable aircraft.

I've called the folks in the Keys and found 2 possibilities. (Also asked if they had any other suggestions of who to call, unfortunately not)

I will start working my way up the coast starting with Ft. Meyers. If anybody has the time and wants to take a section and make some calls, let me know. I will update the list as I complete sections.

In that temperature water, about 3 days.
