Mike - Have to apologize for not getting back on here sooner. I let my buddy pick who we were diving with and he chose Waikiki Diving. We are going tomorrow (Sunday) morning.

Just a quick note though - we had an underwater encounter with a whale in Kauai. Will post a trip report sometime after I get home.

That's awesome Jon. I am envious. We had not idea about the marathon road closures, until we were returning to town around 6 pm & streets were blocked. We ended up hoofing it back to our hotel about 4 blocks.
We didn't see any whales on Oahu

We saw a humpback from kaanopali around 6pm on our last night on Maui, while we were having dinner at the Castaway cafe. It was quite a way out, but we could see the spouts, & he did several breaches for us for about half an hour.

regards

Mike D
