Hello everyone
Going to Cat Island Bahamas this Thursday for a week of diving!
Friend of mine is letting me use his Scubapro G2. Am wondering if I need to change out the horseless transmitter battery?
Opened it up expecting a normal battery but found a CR 2/3 AA battery which are only available online. I doubt I have time to get one before we leave for trip.
Anyone know the life of these batteries please? My friend has prob put 10-dives on it to date.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!! :)

Don't have the answer as to how many dives you can expect, but if there are only 10 dives on the battery you should be fine. These are lithium manganese batteries and have a very long shelf life.

I upgraded from the Luna to the G2 a year ago. I never swapped transmitters but I did replace the battery. In theory the transmitter battery is good for about 2 years and my first one lasted at least that long.

The transmitter only turns on when there is pressure. It should be fine with so few dives on it.
