Fascinating story, but so poorly reported! Lots of fluff about "war is hard, aircraft sink", but no space for Lat, Long, or Depth.

Thanks for posting. Surprised the Bermuda forum is not more active. While not a dive destination both the diving and island is beautiful and very easy to get to from the east coast. Hope to return sometime soon.
 
Such a find holds special meaning for me. My late father was the pilot of a B24 Liberator in the Pacific Theater (see pic, second from left, first row, kneeling). This is he and his crew in 1944 at Muroc Army Airfield (now Edwards Air Force Base). He was the oldest of the crew at age 22. Mark
