You see, "enemy" is the wrong word.
They are just predators.
 
Heck, blues and makos will take seagulls in the water (although they prefer fish). Tigers have been proven to take birds as well. A bit of diversity in diet may be quite beneficial (especially in opportunistic feeders).
 
Birds are mostly dead when the sharks get them. Hardly enemies.
