Why are the rich people "annoyed"? Did you mean "annoying"? Why does this bother you?

I'd rather be surrounded by lots of "annoyed" rich people than one whiny fancy s..t.

They are using the Aquatica sub from Vancouver Aquatica Submarines : Innovative Manned Submersibles
They've done some cool stuff lately, were recently in the blue hole in Belize.

annoyed = bored
meaning that they don't know what to do, so they spend 3000$ for a little underwater adventure

did I say that is bothering me? nope
my only concern is: how much the scUber will negatively affect the reef?
the GBR is already badly affected by thousands of tourist with zero (or very basic) scuba skills that jump in the water and destroy the reef*
maybe the scUber will help: 2 people less in the water finning on the fragile reef
maybe the scUber won't help...


*and this should be regulated in a better way. How? I don't know honestly... I have some idea though, but we're off topic
