We call this entry slippery ledge. Some of our buddies crawl to the edge, time it to roll in on a wave. I grew up in Canada where we learned how to walk on slippery surfaces without falling so I have always walked to the edge wait for the wave and do a stride in. I just about lost my reg laughing at these guys all lined up like ducks on the ledge.

I caught this buddy at the same site. He was braver and opted for the giant stride.

We tend to do a lot of entries off rock ledges. At this site some choose to stride in and put fins on in the water as the rocks are so uneven.

Getting out at this site known as "The Gutter" can be particularly challenging. I did my 3rd Ocean dive on my OW course here.

@Marie13 Divers taking on this entry often substitute the "p" to a "t" I have only managed to convince hubby to do this site once....

The trail to the entry involved sections so steep someone had strung a rope from a tree branch to hold onto going down a section of it..
