$2500 force fins?

Just came across this on eBay... “prototype force fins” with “experimental OPS foot pockets” for $2500.. wowie. Talk about ugly!

I saw that too and had a laugh. Sometimes people ask the most ridiculous prices for old scuba items. I could be wrong but I don't think there is a big collectors market for Force fins.

It has always puzzled me where fools got their money from in the first place.

Incidentally, does "Voodoo Gas" have anything to do with the operation of these fins?
