North Carolina? I haven’t found a single tooth off the NJ coast in 35 years. Admittedly, I haven’t been looking for teeth really.

Back more than 40 years ago when I was a kid growing up in Colts Neck, NJ, we'd go to Big Brook and find shark teeth fossils. I had not thought about that until I saw your post. Thanks

Just from a quick web search Big Brook and Shark River come up as fossil hunting sites with shark teeth often found.
