I found a 60hp Johnson outboard at 66-feet deep in a popular destination bay for Sunday boaters in Mallorca. I recovered it and it started first pull. It must have been dropped during transfer from one boat to another. If the motor had been running it would have sucked in seawater. Alas, I sold it for €50 before I tried to start it, thinking it would need a lot of work.

Let see, found an unopened bottle of cheap Champagne, a message in a bottle (but it was so water logged in just disintegrated), a fillet table in 90', but the weirdest thing, an electronic ankle monitor (for house arrest subjects) on the 1st reef, it had clearly been cut off. No one at the Department of Corrections was interested in who it belonged to!

Found the draft mark of an old ship. It's hand cut lead sheeting in Roman numerals. XVI. It has small square cut nail holes where it was attached to the ship's hull.

Also lots of old bottles from the mid 1800's. And a Magna propane grill if the back of a sail boat.

Just off the 17th street bridge in Ft Lauderdale near Pier 66, a large marital aid. I put it in my tool bag, and had the tender take it up. He failed to see the humor in it.

Not found and kinda scary but i.had a six foot morey eel using my fins as a back scratcher while I was taking pics of a huge fish.

I know a diver who found a mask and snorkel during a dive in Washington one time. He tried to pull it out of the sand but it was suctioned down pretty well. He figured he would try to retrieve it at the end of the dive. A few yards away, he found a drysuit with scuba gear on it. There were vertebrae sticking out of the neck seal. He went back to the mask to find a skull inside.
He reported it to the police, who recovered the body. It turned out that two brothers got separated during a dive ten years earlier and one of them never surfaced.

Another buddy was diving a wreck on the backside of Catalina Island. The boat had been used as a film set for pornos. He said there were dozens of marital aids among the wreckage.
During another wreck dive, the same diver recovered a jar. When he got back on the boat, his buddies told him it contained human ashes. He made a second dive to put it back.

Let's see... People, parts of people, Jewelry, 6' concrete dolphins, newspaper machines, safes, lots of weapons, a fingernail (the presson kind), vehicles, a bambi bucket, and a lot of other stuff.
