I will be lobster diving and Spear-Fishing the first week of August. Curious as to the water conditions. Thx

Florida must have 1,000 miles of coast line and the conditions vary considerably. It would help to know where in FL you’re interested in diving.

Especially if water management opens the spillway gates

visibility could vary between less than 2 feet to maybe 150 ft. You need to be a lot more specific, often within a 10 mile range and depth matters as well. Oh yeah and temps might vary between the low 50's to mid to upper 80's (if that helps).

One dive approx 10-20 miles off Palm Coast and the other 200-300 yards off Vero Beach. Thx

.. and the other 200-300 yards off Vero Beach.
With the bottom scrubbing storm swells, combined with the afternoon down pours and runoff lately, Vero's viz has been brutal. You might get a teeny tiny window but all reports from Wabasso beach (Vero shore entry point) say it sucks.

Last boat dive near Fort Lauderdale was 50' of viz. Not too bad but rainy skys made underwaters colors look very gloomy.

Ty, we dove about 12 miles off Palm Coast 80’ dives on two different reefs but current was like 2 knots so it was hard to hunt. Visibility was about 20-30 but still enjoyed ourselves.
