August 3 - 24. Three weeks. Retirement is great.

I was there the 16th to the 21st. What did you think of the currents?

Great photos, and an impressive camera. I bet it gets a checked bag of its own and is well insured.

Sorry you missed my BD dinner. We had cake!

Currents were typical of August - varying from weak to freak-out and often running the "wrong way."

I get it, but I don't expect it all in the same dive, and almost every dive.

We dove Palancar Bricks. We never saw any bricks on this dive. I saw lots of sand tornadoes, though. Pretty big ones, too. I would fight like hell to get through one current, and then take off like a rocket once I got through it. Those on the boat with over 1,000 dives were marvelling at the dive master, as he just looked effortless in the water.
