Can anyone report on the less visited sights in the north? At least there will be more lionfish there, junior will love that. (and so will I)

They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique
And a swinging hot spot
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got til its gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot

Joni Mitchell

That's been going through my head too. They literally paved Paraiso and put up a cruise ship dock.

I read it like chief meant it.

must be a 'murican thing? Texan? We are a more peaceful lot up here in our socialist paradise but the gov't still wants to take my guns away.

We are headed to Coz in a couple weeks. None of us (5 people) even considered canceling. Yes, we all love diving the reefs that'll be closed but there are plenty more reefs to dive. We've done some of the northern reefs with Aldora and hope we can visit some of them again. The reefs that'll remain opened are beautiful and fun to dive. We dive a lot here in SE Florida, and the reefs are totally different than the ones in Coz. The critters are different, too. I love the macro life Coz affords. I love the big barrel sponges. I love all the different colored anemones. I love diving in Coz.
