OP is asking about a semi-dry suit, not a standard wetsuit.

I do this with a 3mm suit, but if the OP is concerned, handwash in a laundry tub with a little wetsuit soap... I don't think it's rocket science.

shouldn't make any difference, still made out of neoprene. semi-dry just has better seals to stop more of the water transfer.

I've been washing my wetsuits in the front loader on gentle and has been working out great.

Bathtub half full. A little light detergent (I have some sports wash for this type of stuff).
Massage it by hand. Invert and massage again.
Rinse a couple of times until water is clean. Less stress on the suit than putting it on.

A semidry also typically has a drysuit zipper that can be destroyed in the tumbling action of a front load washing machine, especially if it is a metal toothed zip.
The zip is the most expensive part of the suit to have replaced, often more expensive than a new suit.
OP, I would recommend hand washing in the bath tub.
