Hello everybody,

It is very nice to be part of the ScubaBoard community. I just found out about it existence quite recently. I am a marine biologist from Peru, with more than 10 years of diving. Let me know if any has questions about the diving "scene" in my country.

Cheers,
Bruno

Is there really a smooth bore tunnel that goes under the andes and opens up into the Pacific, underwater?

My favorite artist, Diana Mendoza, is from Lima. I would love to see her painting of mermaids!

It would be good to see an article on your local dive scene.

About the only similar thing I know of for the region is the occasional discussion of Costa Rica. Wonder how Peru compares?

Welcome to the Board. Yes, I definately would be interested in the Pacific shore diving scene in particular, but also charters.
I have been as close as Caribbean side of Panama.
