I'm a Fish!
Does anyone know if dgx usually has a Black Friday sale? I for the life of me can’t remember if they had sales last year

The answer is no; they don't play games with prices. Perhaps they've lowered prices at some time past but I don't ever recall it.

I actually called them last year and asked if they were going to have a Black Friday sale. They said they don’t do Black Friday sales.

Anybody expect/heard of any other scuba retailers doing anything special for Black Friday?

Dive Right In usually has some great deals.

They always throw out tons of emails. Then you actual check the prices offered and they really aren’t that great

I've found that about the Black Friday sales in the last few years. When Hog and DRIS did the first big BF sales, they were a noticeable discount on an already affordable product. Today, they all seem to be a small discount off of the highest-end (and priced) items, or like ‘buy a $3000 drysuit, get a $200 entry-level undergarment...’. And the reasonably priced items they push? They’re just their normal price!

And LP is the worst with that.

But you know, FOMO, the ticking clock, etc.

So just make sure that BF “sale” price really is.
