i'm still not entirely sure I will do drysuit after that whole condom catheter thread. I like to pee in my wetsuits. Its kind of like peeing in the corners of my house to mark my territory.

You can pee in a drysuit (so I'm told), but I'm sure the rest of the dive and the post dive equipment cleaning is less than pleasant...

Simplest option, although still a bit off-putting.

A bought a pack when I bought my first drysuit, and wore them on the first several dives. Once I realized/determined my style of diving did not require them, they stayed at home. Now, if I was spending 2-3 hours in cold water hanging at deco stops, I would have to revisit my options.

The leaking issue was with the socks on the production that was done in Mexico for a year or two. They have moved assembly back to Canada, still trying to catch up.

Not just the socks.
