Ross is the guy behind Multi-Deco dive planning software/app. He didn't create the algorithms, but he wrote one of several dive planning software packages that implement them for dive planning.
Without getting into details, Ross was a party to some interesting and testy discussion threads on this board and others about deep stops. He's not actively participating on SB at present.
