I find that's the quickest/easiest way to get every bit out.

But isn't it weird that the purge itself can't finish the job? Maybe it is regulator specific and I haven't had experience with many different ones. I'm just starting in tec diving, but my Aqualung Legend has never had any issues with purging like that.

I think the purge WILL empty the remaining pressure with a little more patience and less hurry. If my slow bleed of “reservoir of HP” in the hose scenario is correct, it could happen to any 1st stage. But not all valve face o-rings will behave the same. My AT600 always has a little more pressure left after I first bleed it, but causes no problems.

Ok, I'll try to be more patient (or just suck the pressure out to be sure) haha. I guess it is less worrying then. This is definitely new for me.
