I have a thermalution yellow grade vest with batteries controller and charger. I love the setup as I used it both dry and wet. I have gone completely to a drysuit and use a veat with external battery now. Vest has only seen freshwater and is rinsed and stored in cool dry basement after dives. Batteries give me longer than 1 hour on maximum heat and have had no issues with charging them etc.

Which charger do you have for the remote?

It's the Q charger. You set the remote on the charger (similar to wireless phone charger) I have also charged the handset with a wireless phone charger when I traveled.
